Hi lovelies! Ohhhh I am finally back in the blogosphere! Sorry everyone I have been so crazy busy at work. Anyway, I am so excited to share this new polish!! It’s worth every minute of lost sleep on a Saturday morning to grab this. Yes the true sign of a nail fanatic is waking up at 5 in the morning to buy nail polish! I give you Ninja Polish’s Divinity.
Check it out!!
This is one coat over black.
I really have to thank the polish gods for inspiring the good people at Ninja Polish to create this beauty! Apparently it’s a ringer for the very very elusive Clarins unicorn pee but I don’t that legendary polish but this is by no means a second choice. Love love love it! I think my words cannot describe enough how many facets of colors there are. So how do you find it?
Hi lovelies! No I did not drop off the blogosphere but it was crazy at work and socially so have not been writing as much as I would have like to. I suck :p
Anyway I am back and jumping on to the #sgswatchfest bandwagon. Better late than never right? Check it out!
This is done from the last two collections from Enchanted Polish. It’s my absolute fave indie in terms of colours, ease of application and packaging. There is nothing that I don’t love about this polishes. I used J’adore, a duochromish light pink with tiny halo flecks for base and sponged on Britney Spearmint and Ballerina Sprinkles. These two are light spring colours in mint green and light blue. I am horrible in describing colours and these are a challenge to describe as they are so beautiful and multifaceted with flecks of tiny holo I am at a loss for words. Topped with Freeze Machine you have here a spring fest of pastel bling! Freeze machine is made up of multicolor bling suspended in a clear base. I shall let the pics speak for themselves.
Please check out the rest of the spring swatches done by the other ladies using hash tag #sgswatchfest!
Till the next time. Happy polishing!
Today is the eve of the lunar new year. It’s the most important holiday for the Chinese where we gather with our family and friends, feast, catch up and well…feast some more. Anyway I totally missed out on my new year shopping cos I have been so ill. Never been so sick my whole life it was scary. Anyway on the road to recovery and of course time to change my mani after 3 weeks of neglect. Yes, I did not change my mani for three weeks. Can’t believe it myself.
To celebrate the New Year I choose red and gold as the main colours for my mani. Did a bit of stamping and free hand. Check it out.
Inspired by Japanese origami paper, I used a really blingy gold base and sponged on a blingy sparkly red. I then use a Konad stamp and stamped on the little squares and freehand a peach blossom flower with some branches. Peach blossoms are a popular lunar new year flower and lots of families buy it to decorate their homes during this time.
Hope you like this design and wishing you all the health, wealth and wisdom in the new year of the snake!
Here’s a red packet from me to you! 🙂
Hi there! It’s the weekend here but seems like I will be working thru this weekend while recovering from fever and cough. Ain’t fun…. Anyway I DO have a fun mani on today.
I was inspired by a friend who posted this photo on Facebook and asked if anyone can teach her how to do this.
Sorry the pic was not watermarked or anything so if it belongs to someone please let me know and I will gladly credit her.
Whilst my stamping skills are not even a fraction of this talented nail artist, I just had to try this!
So this is my version of the cocktail stamping.
Excuse my crazy dry cuticles, have not given them any TLC lately 😦
Anyhoo, this was done using the face shop’s white creme as a base. This has got to be my absolute favorite white creme polish. No streaking, covers in two coats and cheap as chips! What’s not to love?
I then stamped an assortment of designs using Konan, Bundle Monster and Red Angel’s plates. It was really challenging to match the positioning for the thumb and index finger. Hope I didn’t do too bad. I found that using a used or old credit card as a scrapper works sooo much better than the konad or normal scrapper. Somehow the finer details gets picked up. Do try this method for stamping sometime. Thanks for dropping by and have a great weekend all! ❤
Hi Lovelies! Happy midweek 🙂
To celebrate the launch of Darling Diva Polish in mei meishop, I have decided to swatch DDP today 🙂
Check it out!
I used a baby blue base and topped it with two thin coats of Unicorn Bath. I love the name! Unicorn bath is quite sheer and requires a bit of dabbing to get the bling on but no biggie. It’s made out if large pieces of royal blue, white and holo hexes suspended in a very very light blue jelly base. There are also very very fine slight pinkish shimmer worked in to the base that gives this polish a very subtle bling effect.
What do you all think? I think I will try a pink base with this and see how this combo works for my next mani.
Thanks for reading and till the next time keep polishing! 🙂
Hi Lovelies! How has the week been? TGIF! I have something that I have been lemming for the longest time on today. Check it out!
I used Hits mari moon modern girl’s Cutie Pie. This cutie is beautifabulous!! Sorry my photos cannot do it justice but the multi chrome is really strong and flashes green, purple, olive and even fushia. Hits’ was a surprise as I really did not expect much of them. I got them from ninja polish when they had their black Monday sale for half price! Can’t wait to try out the rest of the collection.
I then used Crows Toes’ Cheshire for my accent nail. Cheshire is something that I have been lemming for the longest time! Check out the bling! No application issues here and no dabbing required. It’s made up of purple hex in large and small sizes, gold and tiny green flakes suspended in a clear base. Love this and amazingly it somehow reflects the green in the rest of the fingers when I take the pix with flash. Crows toes is carried by Annette from shop eclecticco she is having a storewide 20% birthday sale now!! Check it out before the sale is over!
Thanks for reading and I would love to hear from you!!
Hi Lovlies! I am on a roll tonight. Making up for lost time 😀
So there I was spending a cosy Christmas at home with no plans at all. What better thing to do than cook up some festive mani right? Check it out!
I first used Enchanted Polish’s Ballerina Sprinkles as a base. This is light blue polish with a very subtle pink shimmer and very slight scattered holo on the nail.
Of course I won’t leave this alone :p
I used Hit’s Apolo a dark blue linear holo and created a gradation effect. Stamped this with white snowflakes and topped it all with Daring Digits’ Ice Age.
I love love love Ice Age. Really it’s give a blingy wonderful boost to the mani creating a snow flake effect. Made out of light blue tiny hex, large white hex suspended in a very light blue jelly base.. Love it!
I got this as a part of the grab bag from mei mei
She is having a special sale for Daring Digits. It’s only SGD10 a bottle!!! Grab while stocks last!! She ships worldwide except for Italy.
So what do you lovelies think? Snowflakes in sunny humid Singapore?
